In response to complaints and concerns from our community on bullying and harassment in schools, businesses, and public spaces. The training seeks to educate LULAC Utah council members, interested organizations and community members on how to document incidents and how to stay safe. We will also be discussing next steps.

LULAC Civil Rights Workshop
Viva America! Home of the Free Because of the Brave is a celebration of our country and we will be recognizing Vietnam Era Veterans with a Commemorative Pin and honoring Latinx Soldiers of the Utah National Guard. The event has a Civic Engagement Component where people LULAC Utah through the Latino Civic Engagement Utah Project (LCEUP) and Conexion Comunidad Hispanda de Utah registered to vote can get to know the candidates to elected positions. There will be musical groups, activities for children
A series of workshops are planned in collaboration with other Community Organizations and our Partners with Multicultural Engagement For Utah (Me4U) to educate and inform community members about how to document civil rights violations and their rights.

Citizenship Fair by Me4U
Multicultural Engagement For Utah (Me4U) Presents:

What to Bring:
Don't forget to bring the following items to the Citizenship Fair:
-Green Card and Identification
-Knowledge of criminal history
-Knowledge of past travel dates (any and all during the past 5 years-Passport)
-Residence history for the past 5 years
-Employment history for the past 5 years
There will be legal assistance available as well as translators in the following languages: Spanish, Tongan, Samoan, Chinese, and Somali/Bantu
